School After Vacation

Welcome back everyone

Get ready to have some fun

The time has just begun

For us to get things done.

We won’t forever read and write

Lessons after lessons, right?

We will dance to music light

From morning till night.

Run and yell and throw things around

None will catch to keep you bound

No stares from Principal on the round

Treat the whole school as playground

No class work, no homework, no test

No pushing you to be the best

Relax, enjoy life and rest

We’ll treat you as our guest.

Chocolates, chips and all that is nice

Is served for lunch, not stale rice

Icecream cones of true king size

Twice a day will make you wise.

Yes this is what I heard my pillow say

The last vacation night before school day

As I twisted and turned thinking of the day

That would put an end to my life of play.
